Thanks For Calling West Marine...

Haaay

Today was a bittersweet day for me. 

This morning I had an interview for receptionist job at a law firm. Its a big step from what I normally have done (retail) but I'm up for something new. Within a few hours I GET THE JOB! Call me blessed... yes. 

That was the sweet part here comes the bitter.

I've been working at West Marine, a marine store selling fishing stuff and boating parts, for 3 years. I started at the young age of 17 back in 2010, that was my first ever job. They taught me so much and have experienced so much at that store, the good and the bad. For the past year I've been saying "I hate this place I need to quit NOW!" almost all the time. I know debbie downer over here right? For some reason 2012 was not the year for me and West Marine. 2:28 pm I got the call that I've been wanting for so long but then realizing, wow today will be my last day at a job that I've become very comfortable with. 6:20 pm I uttered the words I thought I wouldn't be saying, "Thank you for letting me work here the 3 years but its time for me to go." 

Okay it wasn't those exact, professional words but something along those lines. 

West Marine, 

Thank you. You gave me my first ever job, you've taught me skills that I will use forever, at times you were my safe haven and my hell, you given me so many chances, I've gained friendships and foes throughout the company, you taught me to be more mature but yet still have fun, you taught me how to work with people and how to work at a business. All in all thank you for everything I will honestly miss you.

Thank you for the laughs, cries, frustrations and memories the last 3 years it will be very weird not seeing all of you but I hope your lives will turn out to be amazing! good luck store 1099, 31, 114, 131 and every single amazing person in there(: I will miss you all with all my heart <3

Wait, Todays Monday?

Today did not feel like a Monday at all. (Thanks MLKJr. for the day off)

Living in Miami, I have the luxury of going to the beach year round and also making any excuse to go to the beach.

For being the last day of the long weekend me and my best friend Melissa went Pa La Playa! (to the beach) Our mission: BECOME TAN! 

I succeeded, Melissa on the other hand. . . Lobster to say the least. 

The water was insanely gorgeous today!! The water was so clear you can see to the bottom and from the shore to the deep end was like a blue ombré effect, brilliant! 

We walked a lot.

1. Because there was a huge bug who wanted to eat me so we ran away

2. Because the water was amazing, I wanted to go swimming and walk on the shore

Unfortunately the sun left and clouds came rolling in so we left. (We came, we tore sh!t up, we conquered, we left.) 

But the fun didn't stop there. . .

Melissa's mom told her one day that her stomach looked good enough for a belly button piercing, so she took it literally and off we went to see her belly button be sliced by a needle. 

She was a trooper; No screaming, no tears what a gal!

"Monday Adventures"

BUT IT DOESNT END THERE!

My mom is currently taking Zumba because she calls herself fat every waking moment, even though she's 125 lbs. I decided to tag along and it was great!! I know I'm in a room full of old ladies dancing to Pitbull and Prince Royce but I "feel the burn" and because I can only go on mondays the instructor is letting me go for FREE! 

Yup, today was a great day for a Monday.

My friend from high school opened her own Facebook boutique (In Paradise Fashion) and its quite ravishing. Well, soon me and a few other gorgeous girls will be modeling for her line, which I'm quite excited about! Babysitting for my sister has now gotten 10 times better! Why?

My sister has the privilege of having Apple Tv indicating she can watch any show her heart desires, lucky her. Well, as I was browsing my heart stopped when I bumped into ALL THE SEASONS OF GOSSIP GIRL. For some who don't find this news exciting your missing out on life in general. When GG started I was in 7th or 8th grade and was not allowed to watch it so un-intentionally I just forgotten all about it; but now I'm a college girl and I have this freedom of watching this fabulous show. Within 6 hours of watching it I've become obsessed, as you should when you watch the show, so now I will spend every waking moment watching Gossip Girl... Xoxo

Is It To Soon?

Hey lovelies

So, is it to soon to say that I LOVE SPRING SEMESTER! 

My favorite class so far is my acting 101 class, its brilliant! Great professor, great classmates and of course great class! I get credit to literally play games and to act, yes. 

I'm way to excited about school...

The first day went great actually; My classes don't seem that hard and the professors seem to be good and some what easy. I made friends. I've been in the same school for a little over a year and have yet to make any real friends but this semester within a day I made 4! #NOTforeveralone 

Other interesting facts:

- offered a spot on the Miami Dade cheer squad. . . Go sharks. 

- offered a spot in an improv group. . . 1, 2, 3, ACT!

- offered to audition for this semesters play. . . Hi, I'm auditioning for the role of...

- offered a modeling job for an online boutique. . . POSE! 

Yup, 2013 is looking quite well.

I'm up, I'm up. . .

BACK TO SCHOOL! 

Well, spring semester that is.

Tomorrow starts off another college semester and I'm quite excited about it actually; not the waking up early part but meeting new people and seeing what adventures ill be getting into. 

Waking up, to me, has to be the hardest part. Why? Because my body enjoys rushing and being late everywhere. BUT hopefully this semester its different! 

"*moans* whyyyyy"

What to wear, what to wear. Fashion is a big thing for me especially because since pre-k3 through senior year I wore uniform so now being, in college, I get to dress up, not everyday because I'm lazy, but I dress up. My outfit? I'll post a picture tomorrow but I'll be wearing an over sized high-low long sleeved shirt, which is quite comfortable, ripped jean shorts and my combat boots... that outfit sounds like I'm going into battle.

Its Been Waaaaaay To Long

HAPPY 2013!

I haven't blogged in months and I miss it dearly but I'm baaaack! 

My goal is to have at least 2 blog post a week!

Speaking of goals... What is your 2013 goals?

I've never really made goals since 2009 when I realized that I never keep them so when the New Year approaches my "goal" is that the new year surprises me, it's more exciting that way. 

But whatever your goals, wishes or dreams are this 2013 I hope you make it happen. Good Luck.
